Export content and metadata from EDMS98

Hi :

We have a requirement in which we have to migrate the data from EDMS98 to DCTM 5.3. Our approach so far for other (4i etc)migrations was to export the data from source to file system and then import it into target using tools like Migration Center 3.0 etc.

Can anyone please provide some code snippets as to how to connect to EDMS98 docbase and loop and fetch the documents and fecth the documents attributes to generate metadata file.

Also was there any concepts like Virtual docs, renditions or relations, audit trails in EDMS98 system.

Any kind of help is appreciated.Thanks in advance!
