Rightsite on server 2003

We Have installed RightSite 4.3.9 on a Windows 2003 server with IIS6. This has been partially successful in that I can retrieve a document from the docbase using a URL in the form
http://ipaddress/rs-bin/RightSite.dl...ASE=MYDOCBASE#

However the isapi filter which is supposed to redirect the 404 not found to search for the document in the docbase is not working. I can see that when a document is not found on the webserver it is not even trying to go to the docbase to find the document. I have checked and the ISAPI filter (RightSite.dll) is installed on the web server

Realise that this is by no means a supported configuration but we're trying to move an existing installation away from server 2000.

Good luck. I'm willing to bet there is less than a handful of customers in the world that is trying to do what you are trying to do. If your customer is willing to upgrade to new OS, then you should try to convince them to upgrade to new Documentum platform.

You'll not be surprised to hear that I agree with everything you have said. I'd love to do an upgrade but that's not going to happen since the client is moving away from Documentum. This is a temporary solution since they are being pressurised to move away from W2K. Thanks anyway.

Is your customer open to hosting this on VMimage using the original OS? This is would be a stop-gap solution, which would fit in with windows 2003 hosting the VMimage.
